performance parts at J & J Racing, Ltd. has
been serving the motorsports industry since 1972. Over the years we
have prepared race cars for such series as SCCA Club & Pro
Racing, Trans Am, Bosch Super Vee, IMSA GTP, and most recently CART
Toyota Atlantic. In addition to the racing team, we have been
actively selling race cars and parts since 1979. |
We
began by selling cars and car performance parts for Van Diemen up until 1988. In 1989,
we were approached by Swift Race Cars to handle their cars and
parts. Along with the Swift dealership we began to sell a number of
"hard parts" ie. brakes, clutches, rod ends, gears, etc.
In 1996, as Swift Race Cars turned their focus solely to the Indy
car project, J & J Racing was named as the sole distributor for
Swift Race Cars. Over the past several years our parts & service
business has continued to grow, serving some individual racers, but
primarily to professional racing teams.
It is our intention to now expand our parts distribution and
services to the individual racer. In addition to the parts sales
division of J & J, we have been focusing on our gearbox rebuild,
blueprinting and development business. We have worked closely with
the engineering staff at Hewland on our development of the LD-200
and the NST gearboxes. Our in house gearbox dyno provides us with a
valuable tool in our ongoing program. We have built gearboxes for
champions in series' including CART Toyota Atlantic, US FF 2000 and
SCCA Runoffs winners.
Shock absorber rebuild and development is another facet of our
organization. We have had shock dyno's here long before they were
fashionable and have been a distributor for Penske Racing Shocks for
13 years. Recently we have been named a distributor for Ohlins.

Last but not least we have been successfully repairing aluminum and
magnesium castings for nearly 30 years. Whether its a broken
upright, adapter plate / housing or gearbox case, chances are we can
